Now however - I cannot save/refresh my data says ââData extract requiredââ. The Tableau public worksheets/dashboards/vizs then all updated perfectly. I use a simple (small) Excel file to load data, which I have always just updated and refreshed. ResolutionThe error screenshot explains that it is possible to create an extract using the Data menu but that is not available in the Tableau Public Desktop.
